This is a carved wooden Noh mask from the Showa period, signed by Seiun. It represents Yoroboshi, a blind monk, and measures approximately 20 x 15 cm. Noh masks are an integral part of Japanese religious rituals and theater, symbolizing possession and transforming the wearer into a kami or its human incarnation.
