Description

This is a fuchi kashira set made of shakudo with nanako chiselling. It depicts a historical scene of Genta Kagesue and Sasaki Takatsuna racing across the Uji River, inlaid with gold and other metals. The set dates from the Edo Period and is suitable for both katana and wakizashi.
