This is a refined Japanese tsuba made of shakudo, signed by Omi Yasumasa and executed in the classical kinko tradition during the first half of the 20th century. It features a deep black shakudo ground with abundant chrysanthemum blossoms rendered in high relief using multi-metal iroe work, displaying alternating finishes in gold, silver-tone, and copper alloys. The nakago-ana is framed by a gilt seppa-dai bearing the signature.
