Description

This is an iron tsuba from the Kyo-Sukashi school, dating to the Edo period (18th century). It features an unusual square shape with a lattice design, measuring 7.4 cm square. The design is enhanced by a partial cherry blossom carved in negative sukashi where the kogai-ana would be, and it comes with NBTHK Hozon papers.
